225FEST Returns for the NEW full weekend experience March 1st-2nd, 2025
Welcome to 225Fest, the ultimate celebration of culture in the capital region! Held annually during the vibrant weekend of #225Day on February 25th, a date synonymous with the iconic area code of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, 225Fest embodies the essence of our diverse community.
Founded in 2022 by the award-winning local leader and entrepreneur, Myra N. Richardson, a proud native of Baton Rouge dedicated to uniting our community, 225Fest swiftly emerged as one of the largest free street festivals in the capital region. Drawing individuals from all walks of life, our festival serves as a melting pot of culture, where residents and visitors alike come together to revel in our rich heritage.
225Fest is more than just an event; it's a tribute to the social media phenomenon that has spotlighted the history, cuisine, music, and viral moments that define our community. It's a tangible expression of our collective identity, featuring an array of attractions including food trucks offering mouthwatering local delicacies, vendors showcasing unique crafts, talented local artists, electrifying live music performances, and so much more.
With each passing year, 225Fest continues to grow, with the inaugural event in 2023 welcoming over 14,000 attendees, followed by an astounding turnout of 30,000 festival-goers in 2024. Join us as we come together to celebrate what makes Baton Rouge truly special at 225Fest, where culture thrives and memories are made.
