Founded in 2022 by the award-winning local leader and entrepreneur, Myra N. Richardson, a proud native of Baton Rouge dedicated to uniting our community, 225Fest swiftly emerged as one of the largest free street festivals in the capital region. Drawing individuals from all walks of life, our festival serves as a melting pot of culture, where residents and visitors alike come together to revel in our rich heritage.

225Fest is more than just an event; it's a tribute to the social media phenomenon that has spotlighted the history, cuisine, music, and viral moments that define our community.
